On an overcrowded London peak-hour Central line train to Liverpool Street, I saw a man with a stick (whether he was actually partially-sighted or just using this as a cover I'm not sure) groping the arses of two women. The first placed his hand on the railing as if he were having trouble finding it, and tried to make him sit down when a seat was vacated, and the second did absolutely nothing until I purposefully caught her eye to communicate that I was pretty sure I knew what he was up to - she said "I thought I was being paranoid", to which I said loudly "he was doing it to another woman before", to make him stop, but no-one else did a thing and I felt really helpless. It also left me quite shaky as it brought back my own past experiences of being groped on the train, and I was angry at myself for not saying anything directly to the bastard about sexual assault being a crime.
